- What is on your nightstand?
Nothing but my phone and a lamp. I don’t keep books there. I have a bookshelf close to my bed.
- What author would you totally fan?
Probably a lot of authors who are already dead, like Charles Dickens, Edgar Allen Poe, Ernest Hemingway, and Ina Fleming. I would love to pick their brains
- What makes you cringe?
Writers who do not research enough. I am an RN, I taught nursing and some of the medical romance and thriller novels I read are more comical than serious to me. I believe research is essential to writing a good story.
- Do you obsessively plot out each point or just go with the flow?
Go with the flow. It comes as I write. I never plot.
- Is there a word you love to use?
Evolve. It can say so many things about a character on many different levels.
