REVIEW

This wonderful little book comes with 38 recipes for all different skin types and the majority of these masks are so safe that they are edible!  They use simple wholesome ingredients like chia seeds, yogurt, honey, oatmeal, and chocolate.  As a teen, I had no money to spend on masks but my mother and I always made our own.  The neighbors had walnut and avocado trees while we had orange, apricot and pear trees in our yard.  You would be surprised what you can do with some simple ingredients.  One maks we always made was just plain mashed avocado mixed with olive oil since we had really dry skin.  You just add the oil until you get a thin consistency and apply to your skin, leave on 15 minutes and rinse with warm water.  Your skin will be super hydrated!

This book comes with 8 reusable sheets to keep your mask in place.  Just be sure to hand wash and lay flat to dry and you can get several uses from each one.  They are decorated with charming illustrations of the different ingredients you can use.   This would make a nice gift to include with a basket full of ingredients.
