1. What is on your nightstand?
Answers: My night stand holds many things A few of them are my sleep mask, ear plugs for sleeping and ear plugs for listening to mediation tapes while in bed, Glass of water, flashlight, candle, note pad and pen as well as the latest book I’ve been reading.
2. What author would you totally fan?
Answers: I love many authors, let me tell who are in my top choice. My top ten (10) authors they would be. Jackie Collins, Zora Neale Hurston, Sharyn McCrumb, J. K. Rowling, Beverly Jenkins, Maya Angelou, Madelyn Alt, Harold Robbins, Stuart Wood, and Omar Tyree.
But I would have to say the one I would most like would totally fan would be J. K. Rowling. Because of my fondness for her Harry Potter novels.
3. What makes you cringe?
Answers: Normal unpleasant noise making sounds make me cringe, like everyone once an unpleasant sound hits my brain, I do the cringe thing. For example, like a folk scraping a plate, or clanging against my tooth, concrete being scraped.
4. Do you obsessively plot out each point or just go with the flow?
Answers: My writing process really depends on the book and the moment. By that I mean, sometimes I may plot out the story, point by point, because at that moment I an inspired and my muse is giving me ideas on how my story should flow. If this happens then yes, I will write down the plot by whatever inspiration I am receiving from my muse.
However, if I’m into a story and my muse is silent Then I am writing from the seat of my pants. Meaning wherever the story is taking me, I go. How I make sure my plot is meshing is when I do my content proofing, proof reading and read out loud moments. It is here that I check to see if my storying is connected by way of the plot.
5. Is there a word you love to use?
Answers: I do find that you can find the word “believe” a lot in my writing. I believe I use it because it has great meaning to me, to always believe in yourself.
My Baby Big Sally passed away on June 8, 2018, she was 15 years old. She was my best friend and companion and I loved her and miss her greatly. She was what my family called an American Scent Dog, part of the hound dog family. My father always had and raised Bloodhound dogs, German Sheppard’s and Dobermans. And I fell in love with the American Scent hound as a child. Here is one of my fondness photos of her. She loved to swim and knew never to go into the pool unless someone came out on the back deck. I always told everyone the pool belonged to “Big Sally”. She is greatly missed. I’m crying sitting here writing this.
