I am fortunate to live very close to some major theme parks and attractions, so a Staycation for me can include Disney World and Universal. I take one big vacation a year (usually a cruise) but I do take a mini Staycation at least once a month, so really I enjoy both.
Most of the time, I think I would go with a Staycation because I HATE leaving my animals. But occasionally, a real vacation is nice too. Especially if it is a dog friendly vacation!
