From the USA Today bestselling author of Sunshine Beach, a story of four women trying to rebuild more than their lives…

Before you can fix it up, you might have to tear it down…

Embroiled in a battle to regain control of their renovation-turned-reality TV show, Do Over, Maddie, Avery, Nikki, and Kyra find themselves holding tight to the frayed ends of their friendship and relationships.

Maddie must face the realities of dating a rock star once again topping the charts and deal with her hapless ex-husband, while Avery is caught up in family drama even as she attempts to transform a tiny cottage into a home for the newly impoverished heiress who helped bankroll their last renovation. Put on bedrest, a hugely pregnant Nikki can’t quite believe love can last, or trust in her own maternal instinct. And Kyra, who has secretly put Bella Flora at risk in an attempt to salvage Do Over, must decide whether to accept a desperately needed bail out from her son’s famous father that comes with far too many strings attached…

But friendship is made for times like these, to keep each other—and their dreams—from crumbling.

My Thoughts
When their renovation show, Do-Over turned into a reality show, Maddie, Avery, Nikki, and Kyra find they must rebuild their relationship.  Nikki is now pregnant with twins, Maddie has hooked up with a rock star, Kyra is still figuring out life with her son and his famous actor dad and Avery is adjusting to life after her mother’s death.  If you have followed the other books in this series, you know this one will be like revisiting old friends.  You don’t have to read them in order, but it does help.
Oh, so many things have gone wrong for this group of women and they find that once again they must rely on each other to hold themselves together.  The group is also joined by Bitsy, who was one of the people who put up money for the renovation of the Sunshine Hotel.  Now she is destitute since her husband took off with a stripper and her money.  Since she does have a stellar background in arranging parties, she tries to help regroup the girls around marketing the Hotel and make back some of their investment.
This story is just the perfect way to start off your summer reading.   You keep wondering if they can survive their bad luck and get through all of the drama that each woman is working through.  There is a bit of romance, some hormonal issues and bad decisions that need to be righted.  Overall, it is just such a fun read.
