    This may sound lame but the Twilight series. I really am glad I read the books first. The movies
    missed so many awesome details. I probably would not have enjoyed the series as much if I
    had only seen the movies.

    I loved the Little Women staring Winona Ryder! Although it was very different form the book, I loved the costumes and the stage design from that time period, so it was visually and great movie to watch in a film!

    They did such a nice job with the Harry Potter movies, it’s hard not to pick that! PBS did a phenomenal adaption of Bleak House a few years ago, and although I would be hard pressed to call it a favorite book, it was good!

    Of course, we all love the Harry Potter series, and the Lord of the Rings series. But, I also loved About a Boy. Great book and a fabulous movie with Hugh Grant.
