The lost cowboy…
Thunder Mountain Ranch was the only place cowboy Cade Gallagher had ever called home. But after he and Lexi Simmons broke each other's hearts, he left it behind, along with his foster family. Since then, Cade has drifted, looking for something—anything—to call home. Until a call from Lexi changes everything…
Cade has been gone too long. His foster mother is hospitalized, and the ranch is in deep financial trouble. Yet even as his world crumbles, Cade's hunger for Lexi is almost as tangible as the taste of her lips and the way her body fits deliciously against his. It's bittersweet surrender. But Lexi isn't the girl she used to be, and she's determined to have the hot cowboy in her bed only if she keeps him out of her heart.

MY WRITING SPACE
My living room fireplace is quartz, which is a sparkly stone that aids creativity, so I sit in front of it in my red chair whether it’s cold enough for a fire or not. In summer I fill the firebox with little lights to simulate a fire. I light beeswax candles no matter what the season. My sister found the red glass ball at a yard sale for $5, and I stare into it sometimes when I’m searching for a word or a twist to the plot. I’ve written many, many books sitting here.

the plains. for sure. though I’ve read many a number of louis l’amour books where the mountains play a huge part. so maybe i should say the mountains. 🙂
Congratulations on your achievements. All the best to you.
Thank you so much!
I love that cover. Sounds like my kind of read. I’d say the Plains. Seems it would be easier. Thanks Vicki for the opportunity.

The mountains would be the best place to be a cowboy.
both
Today the mountains, then tomorrow the plains. Can’t play fovorites!
Wow, both have their advantages. Living on the plains, you can see for miles around and the storms put on an awesome light show. But I do love the mountains too. Plains!
Tough question. I pick option C someplace with rolling hills but not quite mountains. Oh and any place is great to meet the right cowboy. 😉
The plains would have lots and lots of room to ride.
I would like to see the cowboys on the plains. When I lived in Texas everything we saw was flat.
The mountains! or at least the foothills of the mountains
I like both.
i do love mountains but the plains would probably be easier for the horses and the cowboys
I would say the plains, although I lived in the mountains for a few years and loved it.
The mountains because I live close to them 🙂
I would say the plains although the mountains sure would have it’s challenges.
I think the plains would be a better place for the Cowboys. The plains is a lot easier for the horse and cowboys to ride, it’s flat. If they have a ranch and cows, the cows can graze. I’m not explaining this too well, I know what I want to say but it’s not coming out well. I think the heat today has affected me. Sorry!
Herding livestock has to be less arduous on the plains. I can’t imagine punching cows in the mountains … too many nooks and crannies for cattle to hide or get injured.
