Rancher and single dad Jack Colton must face an assassin in the thrilling first book of The Coltons of Oklahoma…
A beautiful stranger appears at the Colton ranch during a party, and Jack is none too pleased. With ties to his ex-wife, Tracy McCain claims to be on a mission to bond with his son. But this intriguing widow also has a target on her back. As the Colton family brings Tracy under its broad wing, a relentless assassin puts everyone in jeopardy. Jack's protective instincts go into overdrive…and only fuel his secret attraction to Tracy. Living closely together under Jack's roof, the heat between them starts to sizzle. In fact, the only thing stronger than Jack's heady desire for Tracy is his will to keep her safe…so that one day they can become a family.

PLEASE WELCOME BETH TO BOOKHOUNDS
My writing space is a cluttered desk in our office where I’m surrounded by Snoopy images and trinkets (He’s my Muse!) and where my two cats love to keep me company. While I’d prefer a neater desk, the clutter tends to pile up when I’m on deadline. The black and gold fleur de lis painting came from a writers’ conference auction, and I love the reminder of my Louisiana home and the New Orleans Saints, my favorite pro football team!

Cowboy stories are not my first choice but I have read some that far exceeded my expectations and I thoroughly enjoyed them. I try to keep an open mind.

i have read a few and really like them. I live in Dallas but there aren’t that many cowboys around hee despite what most people think!
i grew up reading my dad’s old louis l’amour books. So i went through a cowboy romance phase after I started reading romances too. I haven’t read a lot of cowboy romances that I’ve loved in a while.
Yes! I love Victoria Vane’s cowboy stories.
I used to be obsessed with cowboys (and Native Americans) when I was younger because they were the only books I could find that had horses in them- I was obsessed with horses too, yes, I was the Horse Girl. I’m not sure when or how I fell out of my love of cowboy stories, but recently (with help from my girlfriend) it’s been sparked again, and I can’t seem to get enough of them.
I haven’t read any for a long time but I’ve always enjoyed them. Reminds me of watching westerns on TV back in the 50s with my dad.
I haven’t read any of yours yet… I love B.J. Daniels’ romantic suspense books with cowboys… AND I love to read Debra Holland’s and Caroline Fyffe’s westerns. Thanks for the giveaway!
