They're not just jewellery, they're part of a highly developed technology capable of cloaking the human form. Triggering the jewellery's power attracts the attention of a secret society determined to confiscate the device - and silence everyone who is aware of its existence.  5 QUESTIONS WITH STACEY NASH

  1. What is the first book you remember reading by yourself as a child?

Roald Dahl’s The BFG. About eight, I was so proud of myself and once I realized I could read alone, my nose was never far from a book.

  1. What are you reading right now?

I’ve just finished a series and am about to start on The Giver by Lois Lowry. It’s been on my to read list for ages, so I’m really excited to start.

  1. How does your garden grow?

Terribly. I have a black thumb that I suspect comes from spending too much time writing and not enough time water plants. 😉

  1. What is the last thing you Googled?

Roald Dahl, because I can never remember if his first name is spelled Roal or Roald. Before that it was the science of plants growing in a rich carbon dioxide atmosphere, research for my latest story.

  1. What makes you cringe?
Cockroaches, my cat licking my face, and high pitched squealing.
