About the Author:
Karen Kincy (Kirkland, Washington) can be found lurking in her writing cave, though sunshine will lure her outside. When not writing, she stays busy gardening, tinkering with aquariums, or running just one more mile. Karen has a BA in Linguistics and Literature from The Evergreen State College.
1. What is the first book you remember reading by yourself as a child?
Matilda by Roald Dahl, a birthday present from my mom and my sister.
2. What are you reading right now?
I’m reading Gilded by Christina L. Farley. Not too far yet, but I’m liking the Korean myths.
3. How does your garden grow?
In containers on my balcony. I put my citrus trees outside for the summer. They are my babies, since I grew them from seed and I’ve had them for years and years now.
4. What is the last thing you Googled?
Ummm. (mumbles) Some hot guy or another. For research. Really.
5. What makes you cringe?
Bad reviews. I think this is true of any author, even if we try not to read them!
