He’s used to dominating…
Tarak Nektosha is a self-made man, against all odds. He accomplished that by making sure he’s the one in charge, both in the boardroom and in the bedroom.
She’s taking her power back…
Sabra Donovan has ambition to spare and energy to burn. So what if her last lover was a disappointment? She’s never going to be anyone’s plaything ever again.
Sabra’s outstanding performance at a corporate photo op attracts Tarak’s attention, and the lines begin to blur. What happens when the one on top surrenders and the one used to obeying begins to call the shots?
Praise for Dawn Ryder:
“Not to be missed.” –Lora Leigh, New York Times #1 best selling author
Dawn Ryder is my naughty inner child. Under my pen name of Mary Wine, I write a lot of historical. Part of writing those books is understanding the clothing of the period. I love to sew period garments and have even adopted a treadle powered machine because I was curious how it would feel to make some of my garments without electricity. When I am doing that, the entire house is a non-electric zone. It really changes the mood. Here’s a shot of me in costume.
1. What is the first book you remember reading by yourself as a child?
My mother was a Liberian. She often had to work night shifts at the public library and took me along. Reading came hard for me but boredom drove me to work my way through the only entertainment at hand…books. I recall discovering the ‘Little House on the Prairie’ books and I recall very clearly when I discovered the romance section. My first romance was by Johanna Lindsey, So Speaks the Heart.
2. What are you reading right now?
Cynthia Eden.
3. How does your garden grow?
Not so great. You see, I live in Southern California’s and we are in an extreme drought at the moment. So I am not watering, which tends to end badly for gardens.
(me too — all of my rose burnt in the Santa Ana winds)
4. What is the last thing you Googled?
Parrot sexual maturity age.
5. What makes you cringe?
Underwear showing because dudes think it’s cool to let their jeans sag to their buns.
