I read Wicked only because I wanted to read it before seeing the stage production… I didn’t really like it though to be honest. It’ll be interesting to see what this new one will be like!

yes! reading out of your usual “genre” is wonderful.
I read one of the books a couple years ago – the one about the cowardly lion.
These are so so very different from the televised Dorothy Wizard of Oz aren’t they?
It’s on my book shelves; can’t wait to get to it. Glad you enjoyed it.
Here’a a quote from my current read: Burned
Thanks Mary for visiting my blog. I look forward to being a regular visitor. So little time, so much to learn!
@megan — I saw the stage production too, and thought that it was a bit like a high school production. It was only my second musical and I don’t think they agree with me LOL
@Harvee – I am on page 100 with it right now. Thankful that there is a recap in the front since I can’t remember anything anymore!
@Kathryn — my older brother and I really bonded over this series, now we read a lot of series together.
@grace – Tell me about it. My rant last week was how I couldn’t get used to everything changing, but my computer died and I now have windows 7 — which is a LOT different than my old one. It is nice to have something new for a change since I always ended up with *hand me downs*
