Do you have another book in the works? 
Yes, I have Book Four of the Changeling Series underway. This one features Culley Macleod. I have to say he’s one of the most maddening characters I’ve ever tried to write about and I sincerely hope the heroine kicks his wolfy butt for me!
What are you reading right now?
Hunt the Moon by Karen Chance AND Lover Mine by JR Ward (I always have at least two books on the go, usually more!)
How many books a year do you read?
That’s a hard question. I’ve been a voracious reader all my life, but since becoming a full time writer, I have a lot less time. Before, I would finish a couple books a week, no problem. Now, I’m lucky to finish a couple books in a month!

What does your dog like to do while you write or read?

Fiona is my Executive Secretary, while Toby is still an apprentice. They are both very supportive of my writing. I use my laptop on the couch, and the pugs insist on sticking as close to me as possible like a pair of furry armrests as I type every word. Fiona likes to supervise and often rests her chin on the laptop so she can see the screen.

The dynamic duo also “guard the writer” from interruptions such as the Evil Paperboy and the Invasion of the Garbage Snatchers. Plus, they work hard to provide lots of “white noise” (read snoring and wheezing) to help my concentration.

What is your dog’s favorite activity?

My pugs LIVE for going for walks! We live on an island in southeast Alaska, and there’s a forest hiking trail nearby that we enjoy. Fiona and Toby like to run around on the rocky beaches here too – especially if there’s a stinky fish to roll in!

About the Author

    I love Toby and Fiona they are the best. When my husband was away recently I was telling him about them and said I wanted to have some luv pups and he got scared LOL Before he came home when we talked on the phone he said how’s the dog and I said fine and he flipped 🙂 Our dog of 18 years recently passed and he just not ready to make that step again. Thank you for the fun today. I was recently blessed with winning a copy of Changeling Dream and if it is not too greedy, I would love to win Changeling Moon as well 🙂

    Pugs are wonderful, but Dani, your books are even better. No need to enter me in the contest–I’ve got and have read both Changeling Moon and Changeling Dream and I want more, now!!! Wonderful writing, wonderful story telling, and damn girl, but you know how to write a truly sexy hero! They just don’t get any better. I’m going to be very anxiously awaiting the next one in the series. You’ve got me hooked. 🙂

    Recently finally have a place where my little Chihuahua or one of my cats can be my executive helpers, put a pet bed under my desk and one or the other likes to sleep under there by my feet when I am on my computer.
    Pugs are such sweet dogs, my neighbor had one up until about 4 years ago and I miss that little dog as she used to come visit with me.

    Had my eye on these books for a while just not gotten around to getting copies yet.
