Ghost Huntress Book 2: The Guidance by Marley Gibson
LOVED IT
I think I liked this one better than the first in the Ghost Huntress series. Kendall finally finds her own voice and becomes confident in her abilites both normal and paranormal. There is enough action to keep the pages turning, conflicts between her mother and boyfriend to get sorted out as well as making friends with cheerleader who previously made her life hell. It doesn’t hurt that the cheerleader is possessed by a spirit and Kendall helps to expell him.
This series is just wonderfully scripted and should pull in girls of all ages. I think that this is probably safe for any teen, especially those recultant readers. There is just some kissing and exploring that is safely put to a stop by her ghost mentor, Emily. I can’t wait for the next one in May, 2010.

So Courtney begins dabbling in the paranormal world. At first it’s all a game to draw attention away from Kendall. But Courtney doesn’t know what she’s getting into—or what wants in her. This is one game that’s about to turn deadly serious.
