Book Review: The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan (171)

September 23, 2009 By Mary

The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan (Author)

REALLY LIKED IT
This post-apocalyptic tale had me asking “WHY” a lot during the first 100 pages. The story all seemed to fit together about what was beyond the fence by the end of the next 100 pages. I now know that this is the first installment of a series and by the last 100 pages I was dying to know how everything turns out. The Forest of Hands and Teeth is a nice departure from the many vampire young adults out there. Again, this one is probably not suitable for younger kids, since there are a few cuss words and some sex, but the older teens are going to love it.

Watch the trailer — it does more in a few minutes than I could ever explain.
