    My favorite book of 2016 was Clones: the Anthology. Excellent sci fi novellas set to the theme of clones. Fantastic!

    Raven King and Not IF I See You First were just a couple. I also really liked Road Tripped by Archer who was a new author for me.

    It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover and The Silent Waters by Brittainy C. Cherry were my top favorites of last year.


    I had 2 favourites from 2 very different genres: Susie Steiner’s ‘Missing, Presumed’, simply one of the best crime fiction novels I’ve ever read and Homer H. Hickam’s ‘Carrying Albert Home’, a wonderfully descriptive and charming story of a young couple’s road trip at the start of The Great Depresssion.

    The Lumatere Chronicles by Melina Marchetta. Technically it’s 3 books, but I read the series all together and couldn’t pick a favourite!

    I think the ones I liked best were the first few books of the Cirque du Freak series by Darren Shan. Not new in 2016, but they were new to me 🙂

    While I have only just started reading it, I think that Zadie Smith’s “Swing Time” will end up being my favorite book released in 2016. I’ve been a big admirer of her work, ever since her first major title was released. <3
