What was your favorite book that was made into a TV show or movie?

chitty chitty bang bang…im just saying this because i loved it as a kid..pretty cheesy now that i think of it

This may sound lame but the Twilight series. I really am glad I read the books first. The movies
missed so many awesome details. I probably would not have enjoyed the series as much if I
    had only seen the movies.

  3. lissa crane says

I loved the Little Women staring Winona Ryder! Although it was very different form the book, I loved the costumes and the stage design from that time period, so it was visually and great movie to watch in a film!

  4. Bernie W says

My favorite book that was turned into a movie was A Christmas Carol. Thanks for the giveaway. I hope that I win.

  5. miranda lewis says

Movie: Harry Potter the first one, it was spot on with this book and was amazingly done.

  6. Melissa Crisp says

I like so many. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Stuart Little, Witches. I could go on and on.

  7. holdenj says

They did such a nice job with the Harry Potter movies, it’s hard not to pick that! PBS did a phenomenal adaption of Bleak House a few years ago, and although I would be hard pressed to call it a favorite book, it was good!

  8. adriana says

Favorite movie the perks of being a wallflower, tv shows pretty little liars and witches of east end.

  9. K Davis says

Of course, we all love the Harry Potter series, and the Lord of the Rings series. But, I also loved About a Boy. Great book and a fabulous movie with Hugh Grant.
